Internship offer: On-skin sensors for health care
New technologies enable new possibilities of health care and remote patient monitoring (RPM). The continuous measurement of physiological parameters such as temperature, heartbeat or blood pressure with not noticeable sensors could bring huge improvements for patients in hospitals, elderly in rest homes and for pregnant women. Wireless communication technologies can reduce the time patients spent in hospitals and improve the time efficiency of doctors. New technologies as inflammation free, gas permeable, lightweight stretchable on skin electronics with nanomeshes offer new possibilities to develop miniature measuring systems. On skin electronic, near field communication (NFC), wireless power transfer technologies (WPT) in combination with high-tech minimalist sensors could bring the health care sector on a new level.
