Robotics in Practice: From Rehabilitation to Performance
Robotics is rapidly transforming healthcare, rehabilitation, and sports. Advances in artificial intelligence, sensors, and human–machine interaction are enabling new assistive and wearable technologies that support recovery, autonomy, and human performance, both in clinical settings and beyond.
Robotics in Practice is a one-day event organised by Fraunhofer Italia and dedicated to technological innovation in applied robotics. The event brings together research and industry to explore how these technologies are being developed, applied, and translated into real-world solutions.
Through expert talks and real-world case studies, participants will gain insights into current developments and future perspectives, with a focus on applied research and funded projects addressing societal challenges such as an ageing population, rehabilitation needs, and performance support in sports and wellness. Concrete application scenarios from companies based in the South Tyrolean region will illustrate how research can generate tangible impact.
What to expect
– A full day focused on robotics in healthcare, rehabilitation and sports
– Speakers from research and industry for a 360° perspective
– Theory and practice: concrete showcases to highlight the applications of new technologies developed
– All participants will be offered a coffee break, a business lunch and networking opportunities
– Event language: English.
